“Fashion (Re)search” is a long-term research project of the fashion search engine GLAMI on the state of fashion e-commerce, based on continuous data collection of more than 30 000 respondents in 10 European countries.

As a fashion search engine, GLAMI wonders what customers are really looking for when shopping online, what is important to them, and how to help them find it most effectively. We also want to collect data and information, show the current picture of European fashion e-commerce and  give recommendations to e-shops how to make online shopping even better.

Main findings

48% of customers, who are interested in buying sustainable fashion items, do not know how to find and where to buy them, as shown in GLAMI’s new sustainability research. The low awareness of sustainable brands is the largest barrier to purchase
